About Event

Join our waiting list for a free online, interactive and participatory workshop:  ‘Interfacing Simulation and Experiment in Porous Materials Research” (on Thursday 29 January from 10am-1pm) as we bring together research communities working across the different scales of study, application and porosity – whether through modelling, experiment, or both – to explore and further build synergies between computational and experimental approaches.

 The workshop objectives are to:

  1. Identify research challenges particularly suited for integrating simulation and experiment in porous materials research.
  2. Explore effective strategies for collaboration between experimentalists and modelers.
  3. Provide an opportunity for networking and formation of collaborative research partnerships between experimentalists and modelers in the porous materials field.

The EPSRC-funded Engineering Porous Materials at Multiple Scales (EPoMM) network builds on the work of GWPore and aims to foster multiscale, applications-led collaboration of scientists and engineers spanning the entire engineering and physical sciences portfolio.

Audience

We particularly welcome a broad range of participants from Chemistry, Physics, Materials, and Engineering who are interested porous materials across a range of scales/dimensions, and form academia or industry.

Registration

Please fill in the registration form to join our waiting list due to the popularity of the workshopEmail epomm@bath.ac.uk if you have any questions.
