About Event
Join our waiting list for a free online, interactive and participatory workshop: ‘Interfacing Simulation and Experiment in Porous Materials Research” (on Thursday 29 January from 10am-1pm) as we bring together research communities working across the different scales of study, application and porosity – whether through modelling, experiment, or both – to explore and further build synergies between computational and experimental approaches.
The workshop objectives are to:
- Identify research challenges particularly suited for integrating simulation and experiment in porous materials research.
- Explore effective strategies for collaboration between experimentalists and modelers.
- Provide an opportunity for networking and formation of collaborative research partnerships between experimentalists and modelers in the porous materials field.
The EPSRC-funded Engineering Porous Materials at Multiple Scales (EPoMM) network builds on the work of GWPore and aims to foster multiscale, applications-led collaboration of scientists and engineers spanning the entire engineering and physical sciences portfolio.
Audience
We particularly welcome a broad range of participants from Chemistry, Physics, Materials, and Engineering who are interested porous materials across a range of scales/dimensions, and form academia or industry.
Registration
Please fill in the registration form to join our waiting list due to the popularity of the workshop. Email epomm@bath.ac.uk if you have any questions.
